카운터 스트라이크 (Counter-Strike)
스타크래프트 브루드워 유즈맵 '카운터 스트라이크 (Counter-Strike)'는 유명 FPS 게임 카운터 스트라이크의 핵심 규칙인 폭탄 설치와 해제전을 RTS 엔진 위에 구현한 시나리오 맵이다. 황무지 타일셋의 128×128 타일 크기 맵에서 테러리스트와 대테러부대 양 진영으로 나뉘어 6인 플레이가 진행된다. 테러리스트 측은 폭탄을 설치한 뒤 일정 시간 동안 방어하면 승리하고, 대테러부대는 폭탄 설치를 저지하거나 설치된 폭탄을 10분 내에 해제하면 승리하는 비대칭 승부 구조다. 원작의 라운드제 긴장감을 구현하기 위해 유닛 배치를 통한 엄폐·엄호, 시야 싸움, 타이밍 러시 등 전술적 판단이 중요하게 작용한다. 트리거로 구현된 폭탄 설치·해제 프로세스와 남은 시간 표시, 진영별 승리 조건 알림이 직관적으로 제공되어 초보자도 규칙을 빠르게 익힐 수 있다. 다만 맵 크기가 4096×4096으로 넓은 편이라 이동 시간이 길고, 유닛 간 밸런스는 제작자 의도에 따라 고정되어 있어 반복 플레이 시 패턴이 읽힐 수 있다. 친구들과 가볍게 즐기거나 원작 팬이라면 추억 삼아 한 판 하기 좋은 맵이며, 전술적 팀플레이를 연습하고 싶은 입문자에게도 적합하다. 플레이 전에는 인원수 6명 충족 여부와 진영 배정, 버전 차이(베타 버전 존재)를 확인하는 것이 좋다.

Before playing, confirm that six players are available, assign teams, and check for version differences (a beta version exists).
