《데저트 스트라이크》는 스타크래프트 브루드워의 유즈맵으로, 모래성과 전쟁을 연상시키는 아케이드 스타일의 디펜스 맵이다. 맵의 중심에는 거대한 성채가 자리하고 있으며, 사방으로 뻗어나가는 오렌지빛 사막 지형이 인상적이다. 플레이어는 성채를 방어하면서 적 진영을 공격해야 하며, 맵의 구조적 특징상 중앙 요충지를 중심으로 한 전략적 교전이 필수적이다. 맵 상단과 하단에는 각각 3기의 건물이 배치되어 있으며, 이 건물들을 지켜내며 적의 공격을 방어하는 동시에, 반대편 진영의 건물을 파괴하는 것이 주요 목표로 보인다. 맵의 장점은 단순하면서도 전략적 깊이가 있는 디펜스 구조에 있다. 중앙의 넓은 평야는 빠른 기동과 전투가 가능하도록 설계되어 있으며, 오브젝트로 사용되는 건물들은 방어의 핵심이자 공격의 표적이 된다. 특히, 성채 주변의 좁은 통로와 언덕 지형은 적의 진군을 방해하거나 플레이어의 병력을 보호하는 데 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다. 맵의 색상 구성은 전체적으로 오렌지빛 톤으로 통일되어 있으며, 황혼 타일셋의 특성상 따뜻한 분위기가 느껴지지만, 전투가 벌어지면 붉은색과 검은색의 폭발 효과가Map Description: This is a remake of the classic Sand Castle Wars, offering a simpler yet arcade-style experience inspired by CASTLE FIGHT.
