거상 맵은 사막 타일셋을 활용한 대규모 UMS 전투형 유즈맵으로, 8명의 플레이어가 동시에 전장에 투입되어 서로의 상인을 방어하고 공격하는 구조를 가지고 있다. 맵 중앙에는 거대한 상점 건물이 배치돼 있으며, 이 건물을 점령하거나 파괴하는 것이 주요 목표가 된다. 플레이어는 시작 지점에서 자원을 확보하고, 건물 주변에 방어 타워나 유닛을 배치해 상대의 침입을 차단한다. 동시에 상대 상점으로 진격해 적 유닛을 격파하고 건물을 약화시키는 과정이 반복되며, 전투가 진행될수록 건물 파괴와 재점령이 빈번히 일어나 전장의 흐름이 크게 변한다. 맵 전체가 3072×3072 픽셀 규모의 넓은 공간으로 구성돼 있어 이동 거리와 시야 확보가 중요한 요소가 되며, 사막 지형 특성상 시야가 제한되는 부분도 존재한다. 전략적으로는 초반에 방어 라인을 빠르게 구축하고, 중반 이후에는 상대의 방어를 무너뜨릴 수 있는 대규모 공격 유닛을 생산하는 것이 효율적이다. 또한, 건물 파괴 시 발생하는 자원 보너스를 활용해 추가 유닛을 생산하거나 방어 시설을 보강할 수 있다. 플레이 전 확인해야 할 포인트는 각 플레이어의 시작 위치와 초기 자원량, 그리고 건물 파괴 시 발생하는 보너스 조건이다. 초보자보다는 다소 경험이 있는 플레이어에게 적합하며, 팀 플레이보다는 개인 간의 치열한 경쟁을 즐기는 유저에게 특히 추천한다.
