(Anime Pics #1 (Rakasu))
Anime Pics #1 (Rakasu) is an appreciation-type UMS map created as part of Clan KBK's Blackscreen Project. Although categorized as a standard melee map, it effectively belongs to the 'image map' genre where terrain and unit placement on the minimap and game screen form a specific illustration or pattern. The description 'Blackscreen project by clan KBK' and the credited creator KBK-Aoki suggest it was distributed as a clan creative showcase. Built on the Platform tileset at 129x128 tiles, the terrain and unit layout were likely designed to render an anime character or illustration on a black background. While listed for 8 players, its purpose is viewing or screenshot capture rather than competitive play, making it unsuitable for build-order practice or balance analysis. Instead, it holds value as a fan-art archive and clan culture artifact demonstrating the expressive potential of the StarCraft map editor. Before playing, verify trigger functionality and minimap display; the map likely has no victory condition and ends when the viewer exits. Recommended for vintage UMS collectors, Clan KBK archivists, and fans of StarCraft-based pixel art.
