Battle Royale is a unique Use Map Settings style map created on a volcanic tileset for StarCraft: Brood War. The overall map structure clearly divides into large resource gathering areas, independent base zones, and a central brawl battlefield. Players proceed with the game by producing units and managing resources from their respective positions while preparing for intense combat unfolding near the center of the map. Unlike standard melee maps, it features distinct layouts and terrain characteristics, making the ability to understand structural features and adapt flexibly more important than following conventional build orders. Particularly in multiplayer environments, psychological warfare among players and the timing of territorial expansion are expected to act as key factors determining victory or defeat. This map is well-suited for users who prefer traditional competitive formats or those wishing to enjoy multiplayer brawls with friends on a unique battlefield. Players must efficiently secure resources across the vast terrain, defend against enemy incursions, and simultaneously seize attack opportunities, delivering an immersive experience that requires strategic judgment at every moment. Before starting play, it is recommended to check the resource distribution and distances between bases in advance and devise optimal strategies suited to the participating player count. For users exploring the StarCraft Brood War map archive in search of fresh gameplay experiences, this map is worth trying out at least once.

(Battle Royale)
This map is themed around Battle Royale, one of the legendary user map genres in StarCraft: Brood War. In a vast 128x128 battlefield based on desert terrain, up to 7 players participate in a survival battle to determine the last survivor. The entire map is composed of a massive desert tileset, providing relatively open visibility, and it is a key feature that fierce melee and ranged battles unfold simultaneously with concealment and ambush using terrain features. The gameplay is very intuitive. When the game starts, each player scatters across the battlefield with limited resources or initial units, and engages in a fierce battle until only one person remains on the entire map. Since it proceeds in a complete free-for-all format rather than a team battle, there are no alliances, and only your own survival and the elimination of other players are the sole objectives. This map is recommended for users who want to enjoy tense battles in a short amount of time, or those who want to test their immediate unit control and situational judgment skills rather than complex build orders or long-term resource management. In particular, players who are confident in StarCraft's unique fast physical skills and micro-control can have a more thrilling gameplay experience. It is also perfect for those who enjoy the variables that occur from chance encounters. Points to check before playing include the fact that exactly 7 players must gather in the lobby to smoothly play the 7-player battlefield, and due to the desert terrain, securing visibility is important, so information warfare using scout units or detection functions can determine the victory or defeat. If you want to experience the fun of classic battle royales in the StarCraft: Brood War environment as it is, this map will be a very excellent choice.
