Each player selects a base, receives starting resources, and at regular intervals waves of enemy units march in from the desert terrain. To stop them, players must construct towers or summon units to hold the line. The game proceeds in waves; as the wave number increases, enemy health and attack power rise and special units appear, demanding strategic placement. Resources are gathered from scattered minerals and geysers or earned by killing enemies, and efficient harvesting together with timely tower upgrades decides the outcome. Since each player builds an independent defense line rather than cooperating, individual strategy shines, while observing the overall defense density of the map also provides enjoyment.
