Finding the StarCraft Remastered Map Folder Location
Explains how to locate and organize the StarCraft map storage folder on Windows.
Check Default Installation Folder
Using 'Settings' or 'Show in Explorer' for StarCraft in the Battle.net app is the most accurate way to find your current installation folder. If you changed your installation drive, this method is safer than guessing hardcoded paths.
Configure the Maps Folder
After locating Maps inside the installation folder, you can create purpose-based subfolders like Download, UMS, or Melee, and they will appear directly in-game. If filenames are excessively long or contain many special characters, try shortening them.
When Maps Are Not Visible
Verify that you didn't place the compressed archive itself, check that the extension is SCM or SCX, and restart the game. Also make sure you haven't confused cloud synchronization folders with the actual game installation folder.
